A Light in the Darkness (Holland, 1935)
A photo that has always stopped me in my tracks ever since I first saw it on a Holocaust piece by @popchassid - a packed room of Jews in hiding lighting a menorah in a transit camp in Holland. The fact that they could still see and light in such a dark and cruel world is something that moves me intensely.
No matter how dark it is for the Jewish people we know because of those who came before us , that our light will never be extinguished
