Beis HaMikdash
Beis HaMikdash
A vision of the Beis Hamikdash. This holy temple was built and destroyed two times and served as the central place of worship for Jews in Jerusalem. We read about it in all our holy scriptures and prayers, and Jewish life dictates that we should actively mourn it while simultaneously working towards its being rebuilt. Many people, including myself, have always had a hard time mourning something that we never saw or experienced, but life post October 7th has made the feeling of yearning for it so palpable to me.
